About StudioK

Kaz Kwiatkowski is the principle of the practice and is a self-employed architect who qualified from Dundee University in 2000. He has a bachelor of arts honours degree in architecture.

The practice was established in 2012 after 13 years of working at a medium-sized Perthshire practice working on both commercial and domestic projects. The projects ranged from small house extensions to bespoke houses, small and large developments, castles, hotels and swimming pools.

Since StudioK Architects was established it has worked on a variety of projects from the Scottish Highlands to the North of England. The projects vary from small to a large house extension, bespoke houses of varying sizes and environments, to small and medium-size developments.

The conceptual design drawings, internal and exterior perspectives and drawings for planning applications are prepared by hand to give them a more artistic feel which the planners like.

The building warrant drawings and working drawings are prepared on CAD to allow ease of transfer to structural engineers, interior designers, 3D imaging companies and other members of the design team.
